I have 3 questions relating to microsoft office excel 2003. I use JAWS 11.
As for the first question, I always select the columns one at a time by using ctrl-C when inside that column. If they are not consecutive columns it should not be a problem to first select one and then the other column and just copy them side by side.
If, for some reason, you need to select them both at once I can look into how to do that, I always did it by using vba code, but there's got to be a more user interface oriented method.
As for the second, I believe you can type the cell refereence into the data source dialog box, or select the range first and then use shift-f10 to insert a graph into that region, or if it is the data source, select it first. If that does not work I think you can enter the beginning and end cell reference into the data source manually, at least you can when you insert names to created a named data area.
As for your third question I am confused. The first cell in a spread sheet to the top left is A1, a cell always has a letter and a number, that is how Excel works. There is no A cell or 1 cell only, it's impossible as it would only give you one co ordinate, so the left upper most cell on any spread sheet is a1. If you want the first cell in the sheet that has any data in it you can use ctrl-shift-d and Jaws will bring up a dialog box of all cells in the vissible area that are not empty, so the top one in that list will be the top left one with data.

Hi,
As for the first question, I think one could select colums by doing the following:
in the worksheet, press controlG to get in to the goto dialog.
then for example type a1,d1 to select those two, followed by pressing enter.
and for a range it can be something like:
a1:a9,b1:b9

for my third question, i'm not referring to cells, the letters and numbers are just on the screen.
